Lighting not only decorates an object, but can also emphasize its significance. Especially if it is successfully combined with a thoughtful and unusual facade design. Also, the interesting lighting is an excellent beacon for tourists and an excellent PR move.
For every company, its corporate style is important. It is easily embodied in the lighting of the building. Already from a distance it is easy to determine the affiliation of an object to a specific organization. This applies to administrative buildings or, say, the training center discussed in this article.
In 2019, our equipment was chosen to implement the illumination of the SIBUR training center in Tobolsk. The building is a professional training center for training workers at the Tobolsk industrial site of SIBUR, the largest petrochemical company in Russia.
As a result, a volumetric geometric pattern was chosen, visually reminiscent of branches and leaves. The idea was that the same drawing should be supplemented with the final touch - lighting. According to the project, the lighting had to be attractive and unusual - after all, young people study in this building. Two problems were solved at the same time. First, it must be stylish. The second is status. "SIBUR" is a well-known and status company.
The final version of the backlight is programmed for dynamic glow using the effect of play and flickering. But that is not all! At certain points in time, static lighting in the corporate colors of "SIBUR" is turned on on the building. The required color was selected in full accordance with the RAL palette.
To implement the planned project, an impressive batch of LED equipment arrived in Tobolsk. 3000+ RAD-P-M-1.44 pixels and 75 RAD-S-ClS-18 spots illuminated the facade. 400+ RAD-T-Cu-12 contour linear luminaires with a soft matte glow were also used. With their help, all facets of the façade design were emphasized. What is important is that the lamps are highly resistant to temperature changes and are suitable for uninterrupted operation in the harsh conditions of Siberia. It took us 1.5 months to produce the entire batch of equipment and deliver it.
The lighting turned out to be very effective. With a huge number of control systems. There are no repeating elements in the entire complex. The equipment is installed extremely carefully. It was important to maintain the external aesthetic appearance. And it was a success! Thanks to a professional approach to illuminating the facade of the building, the "SIBUR" training center acquired its new unique image.
