Design Features


The flange embedded parts are made from rolled pipes as per GOST 10704-81. The material and rated diameter of the pipe are selected depending on the climatic area of operation, taking into account the safety factor as per SP 16.13330.2017.

Coating


FBs are protected from corrosion, in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 2.03.11 and GOST 9.602-2016.
By default, the outer surfaces of the part of the EFf, which structurally protrudes from the foundation block, are covered with a layer of bitumen mastic up to 1.5 mm thick. Upon request, all external surfaces can be coated with bitumen mastic or hot-dip galvanizing as per GOST. 9.307-89.

Installation of the EFf


The installation of the EFf is performed in a pre-prepared pit. After installing the flange at the level and achieving its required orientation, the underground part is filled with concrete outside and inside the pipe. The required structural strength is ensured by the level of pouring concrete above the top edge of the window for cable supply to a size not less than the diameter of the pipe of the embedded part. The location of the through window above the concrete pouring level must be justified by the design and agreed with the manufacturer.
The main parameters of the foundation (quantity and grade of concrete) are generally determined by the design organization based on the load characteristics, climatic conditions of the operating area and soil parameters using calculations.
The installation of the steel structure (supports, masts, etc.) is performed on the EFf flange installed in the equipped foundation. Depending on the loads and design requirements, threaded fasteners (bolts or studs) supplied complete with the structures are used for installation. Installation of structures is allowed only after the foundation has reached the required strength.

The embedded element serves to transfer loads from the installed steel structure (support, mast, etc.) on a foundation block, usually made of concrete, under the following operating conditions:
-climatic regions - II4...II11 as per GOST 16350-80;
-wind areas - from I to VII as per SP 20.13330.2016;
-external environment - slightly aggressive (in terms of the degree of aggressive impact) as per SNiP 2.03.11.

The use of embedded elements in climatic regions I4...II3 must be justified by design and agreed with the manufacturer.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes that do not impair the quality of the product in the design of individual parts, assemblies and parameters of the lamp without prior notice.
