Embedded elements for supports
The embedded element serves to transfer loads from the installed steel structure (support, mast, etc.) to the foundation block, usually made of concrete, under the following operating conditions:
- climatic regions - II4...II11 according to GOST 16350-80;
- wind areas - from I to VII according to SP 20.13330.2016;
- external environment - slightly aggressive (according to the degree of aggressive impact) according to SP 28.13330.2017.
The use of the embedded elements in climatic regions from I4 to II3 must be justified by design and agreed with the manufacturer.
The flange embedded parts are made from rolled pipes in accordance with GOST 10704-81. The material and nominal diameter of the pipe are selected depending on the climatic area of operation, taking into account the safety factor in accordance with SP 16.13330.2017.
The foundation embedded parts are protected from corrosion in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 2.03.11 and GOST 9.602-2016. By default, the outer surfaces of the embedded parts, which structurally protrude from the foundation block, are covered with a layer of bitumen mastic up to 1.5 mm thick. Upon request, all external surfaces can be coated with bitumen mastic or hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with GOST 9.307-89.
