In 2017, a project to illuminate the tallest building, "Chelyabinsk City", was implemented in Chelyabinsk. Thanks to facade lighting, the business center retains the status of an architectural dominant even in the dark, standing out brightly against the night sky and attracting the attention of residents and guests of the city.
The height of "Chelyabinsk City" is 111 meters, it has 23 floors. This is the first building in the city with a height of more than 100 meters. The complex has an extensive infrastructure with many shops, cafes, offices, a hotel and parking, an observation deck with a gorgeous view.
It was decided to make the lighting design of the building using LED modules (pixels) from RADUGA. More than 10 thousand pieces of equipment were used in the project. A dynamic pattern in the form of running vertical lines along the entire facade emphasized the height of the architectural dominant of the city at night.
The design organization with which we collaborated specially developed a remote mount for pixels - a tensioning system on cables that does not affect the facade and does not interfere with the opening of windows. The control using DMX controllers allows to change the brightness and color of each pixel at any time and create different light patterns.
