The large-scale work to renovate the facade of the Palace of Marriage building in Sochi was performed on behalf of the head of the city, Alexei Kopaygorodsky, for the 100th anniversary of the institution.
The lighting company "Estetta" was tasked with preserving the historical appearance of the Sochi Palace of Marriage and at the same time creating a modern, landscaped space around it.
Several types of luminaires were used to illuminate the building: Gradus-1×7, InTerra-9 and InTerra-2. The LED spotlight Gradus-1×7 is one of the lightest and most compact luminaires for creating architectural and artistic lighting of small facade elements. The optics and diodes of the device are reliably protected by durable tempered glass.
The classic ground luminaires InTerra-9 and InTerra-2 provide flood lighting of the facade from the ground. The ground luminaires have a high luminous efficiency of 110 lm/W, and their service life is more than 50,000 hours. The voltage used is 24 V and 48 V. They have a degree of protection IP67, thanks to which the luminaires are reliably protected from the penetration of dust particles and moisture. The temperature range (from –45 °C to +55 °C) allows the lamps to operate in different climatic conditions.
“The Civil Registry Office of the city of Sochi is popular among newlyweds in Russia, near and far abroad. Thanks to the initiative of the resort administration, they have an excellent opportunity to capture a long-lasting memory of the historical building, unique nature, and the monument to Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom in photos. I hope that guests and residents of the city will treat this beauty with reverence and care,” said Tatyana Burova, head of the Civil Registry Office of the Central District of Sochi, at the grand opening.
