On February 1, the architectural lighting project for the facade of the Institute of History and Law of Kaluga State University named after Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the oldest center of higher historical education in the Kaluga region, was completed. Today it is a multidisciplinary educational unit of the university, which guarantees high quality education in historical, political, legal and in the field of training specialists in customs affairs. And the lighting of the building should emphasize the great importance of the university for the region.
The main task in developing the architectural lighting project for the facade was to create a recognizable and harmonious evening image of the building, taking into account its unusual shape. To create the final appearance of the building, giving a volumetric-spatial form, the Signum-18 LED spotlights and Lumen U-12 linear luminaires were used for architectural lighting, which helped to provide flood lighting and emphasize the style of the building.
In order to obtain the most uniform illumination of the contour, Signum-18 LED spotlights were used, which provide flood lighting for the facade. The luminaire can provide an even flow of light at any temperature. The color temperature range of this LED spotlight is from 3000K to 6000K. The spotlight has a degree of protection IP67, thanks to which the lamp is reliably protected from the penetration of dust particles and moisture. The temperature range (from –45 °C to +55 °C) allows the luminaire to operate in any climatic conditions. The anti-glare grille allows to focus the light flux at the desired point and eliminates the possibility of glare getting into eyes.
